Giorgi Gigashvili
Born in Tbilisi (Georgia) in 2000, Giorgi studied piano without ever thinking of a professional career as a pianist. He is passionate about the popular songs of his country, which he likes to arrange and sing. He even took part in the Georgian “The Voice” competition, winning at the age of 13! However, he continued his musical training at the Central School for Gifted Children ‘Paliachvili’ and joined the Tbilisi State Conservatory in Revaz Tavadze’s class.
In April 2019, he won 1st prize at the Vigo International Piano Competition, whose jury was chaired by Martha Argerich.
