Duo Flückiger-Räss

A breath of fresh air has been seeping the Swiss folk music scene since Nadja Räss and Markus Flückiger have been performing together. The Schwyz-born singer has managed to wake a new interest in yodelling, an ancient vocal art that she explores in its infinite variety. The Fiisigugg, which the artist encounters in her new programme with the accordionist and long-time partner Markus Flückiger, is as much an acrobat as an ingenious handyman. This surprising and moving journey from the past to the present promises an unexpected turn.
